In honor of the 30th anniversary of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Nickelodeon Studios and Gallery Nucleus in Alahambra, CA are hosting an art tribute exhibition to the popular series.
More than 30 artists are currently exhibiting their unique TMNT artwork as tribute, along with a wide display of series memorabilia and production artwork including, but certainly not limited to, character designs, background art, storyboards, and other developmental pieces. On top of that, on the opening night artists who worked on the series—Ciro Nieli, the executive producer of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Irineo Maramba, the design supervisor on the same show, and Dan Duncan, TMNT comic book artist—were scheduled to sign their work for fans.
The cost of admission is $5, or free if you are dressed in a TMNT costume or purchase TMNT items from the shop. The exhibition opened on July 12th and will end on August 3rd, hours from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
