Since its campaign on Kickstarter to develop an inexpensive, open-source, Android-based gaming device, Ouya now promises a whole new gaming ecosystem. With the device built and ready to run, Ouya is confident that its device will support video streaming channels like Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon. Other third-party services that one can expect to see integrated with Ouya are TuneIn, XBMC, and OnLive. Presently, the company is shipping out consoles to backers who funded the project last summer on Kickstarter. The device will be further tweaked and improved on until its market release in June, when it will be available from major retailers including Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.
